Return & Refund Policy

Last Updated: 29 August 2026

We want food products supplied by RAM GOPAL & SONS to reach you in appropriate condition. Because namkeen is perishable and hygiene-sensitive, returns are handled differently from ordinary non-food retail goods.

When to report an issue

Please inspect the package at delivery. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if the wrong product was supplied, the pack is materially damaged, the seal appears broken, or the product is evidently unsuitable for consumption at the time of delivery.

Information needed

Food-safety exclusions

Opened or partly consumed products ordinarily cannot be accepted merely because of a change of mind, personal taste preference or an incorrectly selected size or variant. We may be unable to assist where the product was stored contrary to the stated instructions, exposed to moisture or heat, or reported after a substantial delay.

Assessment and resolution

Each report is reviewed on its facts. Where a genuine supply or quality issue is verified, an appropriate resolution may include replacement, store credit, or refund. The available resolution may depend on stock, delivery location and the nature of the issue. This policy does not create guarantees beyond rights that apply under law.

Refund method and timing

For Cash on Delivery orders, any approved refund method will be agreed with the customer. Processing times may vary depending on the chosen method and any external financial institution involved.

Delivery charges

If a return or replacement is approved because of our verified error or a qualifying product condition, we will explain how related delivery charges are handled. Unapproved return shipments may not be accepted or reimbursed.

How to contact us

Send the required details to info.ramgopalsons@gmail.com. Please do not send food products back without receiving instructions.

Eligible concerns

A review may be appropriate where the delivered item differs materially from the accepted order, a sealed pack is visibly damaged in transit, the quantity or size is incorrect, or there is reasonable evidence of a quality issue existing at delivery. Eligibility is determined after review and is not automatic.

Non-returnable situations

Reporting timeframe

Food-quality and transit concerns should be reported promptly after delivery, preferably on the same day where practical. A delayed report may make it difficult to establish the product's condition at delivery, particularly for opened or improperly stored food.

Review process

  1. Send the order details, issue description and supporting photographs.
  2. Keep the affected product and packaging available until instructions are provided.
  3. Allow reasonable time for us to examine the information and ask clarifying questions.
  4. Follow the return, disposal, replacement or collection instructions provided after review.

Replacement availability

An approved replacement depends on product availability and serviceability. If the same product or size is unavailable, we may propose a reasonable alternative or another appropriate resolution. No alternative will be treated as accepted without customer agreement.

Refund calculations

Any approved refund will ordinarily relate only to the verified affected product and eligible associated charges. Promotional adjustments, partial consumption, bundled items or other circumstances may be considered when calculating the amount, subject to applicable law.

Proof of purchase and abuse prevention

An accepted-order reference, invoice, delivery information or another reliable record may be required. We may decline requests involving altered evidence, repeated unsupported claims, product tampering or misuse of the policy. This does not affect genuine consumer rights available under applicable law.
