This policy describes how cancellation requests are considered for RAM GOPAL & SONS orders. A reference created by this static website is not itself an accepted order and may be abandoned without charge before separate confirmation.
Before acceptance
If you have only filled the website form and generated a local reference, no server-side order has been placed through the site. Clear the cart or close the page if you do not wish to continue. If you separately shared the request with us, contact us promptly.
After acceptance
Once we have separately accepted an order, cancellation may be possible if preparation, packing or dispatch has not begun. Because food is prepared and packed for freshness, cancellation may no longer be practical after these stages start.
How to request cancellation
Email info.ramgopalsons@gmail.com with your name, accepted-order details or request reference, the products concerned and a clear cancellation reason. A cancellation is effective only when acknowledged by us through an agreed channel.
Partial cancellation
A request to remove selected items may be considered before packing begins, subject to stock, minimum delivery conditions and revised delivery charges. We will explain any resulting total before confirming the change.
Orders already dispatched
After dispatch, an order generally cannot be cancelled as an ordinary change of mind. If the parcel arrives damaged, incorrect or with a qualifying quality issue, refer to the Return & Refund Policy.
Refused Cash on Delivery parcels
Repeated refusal of confirmed Cash on Delivery parcels or failure to receive delivery may affect our ability to accept future requests. Any applicable delivery or return costs will be communicated where permitted.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel an order because a product is unavailable, the address is not serviceable, information cannot be verified, delivery is impractical, or an event beyond reasonable control prevents fulfilment. We will aim to communicate the reason and any applicable next step.
Refunds
Because the listed payment method is Cash on Delivery, no online prepayment is taken through this website. If funds were otherwise paid under an agreed arrangement, any approved refund will follow the agreed method and applicable policy.
Cancellation window
The practical cancellation window ends when preparation, packing or dispatch commitments make reversal unreasonable. The exact stage may differ by order, so early communication gives the best chance of a successful cancellation.

- Confirmation that the request applies to the full order or selected items only.
Modification instead of cancellation
Requests to change a size, variant, address or delivery timing are treated as modifications, not automatically as cancellations. A modification depends on availability, processing stage and serviceability, and takes effect only after acknowledgement.
Duplicate requests
If you believe the same request was submitted more than once, contact us promptly and identify the duplicate references. Locally generated website references may exist even though no request was separately transmitted to the business.
Large or special orders
Where a separately agreed order requires unusual quantities, special procurement or dedicated preparation, additional cancellation conditions may be communicated before acceptance. Such conditions will not override rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Failure to respond
An order may be cancelled if important delivery or verification questions remain unanswered within a reasonable time. This helps avoid preparing food for an address or recipient that cannot be confirmed.
Record of cancellation
Keep the acknowledgement of any approved cancellation. A sent email or website reference does not by itself prove acceptance of the cancellation request.
Fair use
We may review repeated late cancellations, refused confirmed parcels or misuse of Cash on Delivery when deciding whether to accept future requests. Each genuine request will be considered reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
